Counseling Services
Counseling is a conversational exchange between a counselor and client. Simply put, it’s a process where the counselor asks relevant questions, and listens and supports as the client develops a new level of self understanding by talking about thoughts, feelings and experiences. The main goal is to (re)gain a sense of balance in life by discussing certain situations, emotions, relationships, or any other area of one’s life. Counseling can be helpful when:
- You feel restlessness or stress about a certain situation, a relationship or yourself
- You feel stuck and you don’t know how to move on or develop
- You want to make sense of who you are
- You want someone to listen to you without judgment
- You feel overwhelmed by thoughts and/or emotions

Emotional Healing
The experience of life inevitably leads to an accumulation of emotional memories and unresolved issues. These can sometimes lead to negative emotional patterns that continue to affect our lives both consciously but more often unconsciously.
We are by nature emotional beings. Every thought we have creates an emotion, and we are constantly thinking. Some of these thoughts lead to positive emotions such as happiness, excitement or enthusiasm.
But unfortunately, most our thoughts tend to be on the negative side, even if we don't like to admit it. Pay close attention to your thoughts for a day and you'll be surprised how much rubbish goes through your head - scary isn't it?
Our negative thoughts can lead to emotions such as fear, anger, envy, resentment and anxiousness, to name but a few. We can help you resolve those unresolved issues and help soften the negative thoughts before they become unhealthy and even damaging.

Anxiety Disorder
Generalized anxiety disorder is characterized by persistent, excessive, and unrealistic worry about everyday things. Sometimes just the thought of getting through the day produces anxiety. You don’t know how to stop the worry cycle and feel it is beyond their control, even though they usually realize that their anxiety is more intense than the situation warrants.
People with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) experience constant, chronic, and unsubstantiated worry, often about health, family, money, or work. This worrying goes on every day, possibly all day. It disrupts social activities and interferes with work, school, or family.
Physical symptoms of GAD include the following:
- muscle tension
- fatigue
- restlessness
- difficulty sleeping
- irritability
- edginess
- gastrointestinal discomfort or diarrhea
